Phlogopite Mica
Tape consist of the high quality phlogopite mica paper bonded to an glass fiber
cloth as the supporting fabric, impregnated with a specially selected high
temperature resistant silicon resin. Calcined mica tape is made of calcined
muscovite mica, it updated the high temperaturer above 1000 degree. For the
excellent high voltage and temperature characteristics, it has been widely used
for fire resistant cable, which has high safe demand machine and place, like:
Aerospace field, Safe work tunnel, Motor and electric equipment cables,
signaling cables, especially high-voltage cable and so on. Electrical
insulation mica tape for cable is a result of compounding process between
phlogopite or synthetic mica and glass fiber cloth or PE film, with its
adhesive being silicon resin, which is mainly used as refractory thermal
insulation between core wire of fire-resistant cable and casing. It is used as
the main flame resistant insulating layer of various flame resistant cables.
The silicone resin binder in this tape we select is outstanding and there's no
harmful smoke when it burns.

Mica Tape
Mica tape is widely used to withstand/ resist fire cable. which
adopt high-quality Phlogopite mica papers, fiber-glass clothes or PE films as
their reinforcing materials, and also with organic silicon resin as its
adhesive, then are baked with high temperature, and compressed. They can
withstand temperature up to 1000 °C for 3 hrs.
